CISCE postpones Class 12 Psychology exam: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has postponed the Class 12 Psychology exam scheduled for Wednesday to April 4 after one of its exam centers lost question papers, the board said on Tuesday. Said to.
This is the second time in a month that the board has postponed the Class 12 exams or India School Certificate (ISC) exams. Earlier on February 26, the board had canceled Class 12 Chemistry citing “unforeseen circumstances”.
In a public notice issued a day before the exam, the board said that one of the ISC Year 2024 examination centers has reported that the question paper packet of the upcoming ISC Year 2024, Psychology exam was “lost”.
“In view of the above fact, the ISC Year 2024 Psychology examination scheduled to be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 has been postponed. This exam has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2024, 2 pm,” the board said.
The board has asked the principals of all its affiliated schools to hand over the question papers of the examination to be held on Wednesday to the coordinators of their centers as soon as possible.
“A new set of question papers to be used for the ISC Year 2024 Psychology examination to be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, will be sent to the coordinators of your schools shortly,” the board said.
The school said that the remaining examinations will continue as per schedule.
ISC exams started from 12th February and will now continue till 4th April. There are approximately 2700 CISCE affiliated schools in India and abroad.
