Apart from these, there is another unique market here. This is the bike market located at Ajmeri Gate which is one of the old markets of Jaipur. The market is 60 years old. It is known as Kamala Nehru Bike Market. This is the best market for bike lovers to get their bikes repaired, modified and bought and sold. It is said about this market that once the bike leaves the showroom, it definitely comes to this market.

Kamla Nehru Market is the largest and oldest bike market of Jaipur. There is a crowd of bike lovers here. Munna Bhai has been working here ever since it opened. He came here with his father 60 years ago to learn motorcycle work. From then till today he is here. Now his son is also a motor mechanic in the same market. He has taught work to many youth here.

What is special in the bike market
There are more than 150 shops, including big and small, in Kamla Nehru Bazaar. There is always a crowd of people getting their bikes repaired and modified. All bike related work can be done here. Here you can buy and sell new and old bikes. The business of buying and selling bikes goes on here all the time.

Munna Bhai, who has been working here for years, says that this is such a unique market where work is being done on all the modern bikes ranging from old bikes from 70’s to 90’s. Youngsters definitely come to this market to get their bikes modified. The bike has silencer, lights, designer number plate, there is always a crowd of youth to shine the bike. All types of vehicles are repaired in this market. Youth get different types of tattoos and designs made on number plates and bikes. Munna Bhai says that he has repaired everything from Lamarretta scooters to sports bikes in this market. They say that the motorcycles of old times were different. This bike market is open 365 days a year from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
