Manu Paliwal and Kulbir Singh Ahluwalia will return to Kota in the first week of August after completing the Trans Siberia road trip. They left from Rotary Club Kota for the Trans Siberia road trip with the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Both the Rovers have completed a total journey of 32 thousand 300 kilometers from India to Nepal, China, Mongolia, Russia. They shared their experiences of the journey by road.
Russian people are honest and helpful
Manu and Kulbir told that the people of Russia are very helpful and honest. There are no beggars, no thefts, women are safe. People of all age groups earn their livelihood. All the cities are clean. Greenery and wood are very well preserved. Indians are respected a lot there. They listen to our songs and watch our dubbed serials. There are Indian restaurants in every big city. The coldest city in the world, Yakutsk in Siberia, Russia, has a minimum temperature of (-) 42 degrees to (-) 63 degrees. The sun shines for less than four hours there.
Difficult journey on the fossil of Ice Age
Yakutsk is a Russian port city on the Lena River in eastern Siberia. It is home to the Mammoth Museum. It houses millennia-old fossils of woolly mammoths. The Melnikov Permafrost Institute underground laboratory has a tunnel. It contains fossils at sub-zero temperatures, including a mammoth calf.
